Paul George, James Harden, Mason Plumlee, and Daniel Theis will become free agents June 30.
Before going in-depth on the Los Angeles Clippers’ upcoming free agents, let’s first look at their cap sheet.
The Clippers have until June 29 to exercise’s Kai Jones’ $2.1 million team option. Even if the option is exercised, Jones’ salary remains non-guaranteed until January 10, 2025.

NBA Experience - Harden will be 35 when next season begins, with 15 years of NBA experience.
Latest Rumors - Clippers President of Basketball Operations Lawrence Frank said he is hopeful Harden will re-sign with the Clippers.
Paul George 6’8” - Unrestricted Free Agent
Primary Position: Small forward | Secondary Position: Power forward
Free agent status - George will be an unrestricted free agent after not exercising his player option.
NBA Experience - George will be 34 next season, with 14 years of NBA experience.
Latest Rumors - The George rumors have been swirling this offseason. There’s reports he’s seeking a four year deal, that he doesn’t want to leave the West Coast, or even, that he may exercise his player option, and then ask for a trade, with a team like Golden State potentially having interest in that option. Cap space teams have also been linked to George such as the 76ers and Magic. The answers to some of these rumors may become a little more clear by Saturday, when George has to choose to opt-in or decline his player option.
Mason Plumlee 6’10” - Unrestricted Free Agent
Primary Position: Center
Free agent status - Plumlee will be an unrestricted free agent with a $9.5 million cap hold and full bird rights on the Clippers’ books.
NBA Experience - Plumlee will be 34 when next season begins, with 11 years of NBA experience.
Brandon Boston Jr. 6’6” - Restricted Free Agent
Primary Position: Small forward | Secondary Position: Shooting guard
Free agent status - The Clippers have until June 29 to tender Boston Jr. a $2.4 million qualifying offer to make him a restricted free agent.
NBA Experience - Boston Jr. will be 22 when next season begins, with 3 years of NBA experience.
Daniel Theis 6’8” - Unrestricted Free Agent
Primary Position: Center
Free agent status - Theis will be an unrestricted free agent with a $2 million cap hold and non bird rights on the Clippers’ cap sheet.
NBA Experience - Theis will be 32 when next season begins, with 7 years of NBA experience.
The Two-Way Free Agents - Xavier Moon (6’0”), Moussa Diabate (6’9”)
The Clippers have until June 29 to tender Moon a $2.1 million qualifying offer and Diabate a $2 million qualifying offer, to make each player a restricted free agent.
Moon played in 14 games with the Clippers, averaging 8.5 minutes, 2.4 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. Diabate played in 11 games for the Clippers, averaging 5.8 minutes, 2.6 points, and 2.2 rebounds.
