Spurs' Opening Night Roster Set
The Spurs announced their opening night roster of 18 players Saturday afternoon. 3 players on training camp contracts were waived in the process.
The San Antonio Spurs’ opening night roster is set for the 2024-25 regular season next week. Here’s the roster provided by the team.
Entering Saturday, the Spurs had 21 players on the roster. To get the roster down to the league requirement of 18 players by 4 PM CT, the Spurs had to waive Malachi Flynn, Brandon Boston Jr., and Jamaree Bouyea.
All three players were signed to non-guaranteed training camp deals.
Riley Minix was also on a training camp contract, but Saturday morning the Spurs converted his deal into a two-way contract.
The Spurs head into the season almost fully healthy, with just starting shooting guard Devin Vassell dealing with a foot injury from last season. Vassell is expected to be reevaluated on November 1 by the team.
