Here’s the Pelicans’ upcoming cap sheet for this offseason:
The Pelicans will have 10 players returning on guaranteed contracts, while they have decisions to make regarding four players on the roster. Zion Williamson and Antonio Reeves both have non-guaranteed deals, while the organization has team option decisions to make for Elfrid Payton and Brandon Boston Jr. The Pels have four players going into free agency: Bruce Brown and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, both unrestricted free agents, and Keion Brooks Jr. and Jamal Cain, who can become restricted free agents. New Orleans will also have the 7th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
After going through the Pelicans’ roster, let’s see which free agents or realistic1 trade targets the Spurs could look at from New Orleans’ roster.
